MS Roald Amundsen

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health has reported new numbers after the outbreak on MS Roald Amundsen. 41 crew members have tested positive and 117 have tested negative. 21 of the guests on voyages with MS Roald Amundsen on the 17th and 24th of July have tested positive. Four members of the crew were admitted to the University hospital of North Norway (UNN) last week. Two have later been discharged, while another two have been admitted.

MS Fridtjof Nansen

MS Fridtjof Nansen is currently in Hamburg to disembark the passengers today, at the end of a two-week expedition cruise along the coast of Norway. All 162 crew members have tested negative. 168 of the 171 guests have also tested negative. The remaining three guests chose to not be tested.

MS Spitsbergen

All 70 crew members and 64 guests have tested negative and the guests will disembark in Tromsø in cooperation with Troms municipality and Norwegian Health Authorities

External investigation by Wiersholm and DNV GL

Hurtigruten has revealed several deviations from the company's internal procedures in relation to the outbreak on MS Roald Amundsen. Hurtigruten Group has hired Wiersholm and DNV GL to conduct a full investigation of the incident on MS Roald Amundsen.
